Setup & Add A Note/CC

Settings

1. Stream Animate > Settings > MIDI

2. Select Midi Device – Note: This grants exclusive control of the MIDI device, preventing any other applications from using it simultaneously

3. Click Start

4. Optional: Listen on Startup – Check this if you want to automatically start ‘listening’ for MIDI events when the software launches

If correctly setup you will see a new option on the left navigation bar

Add Note/CC UI

1. Add New MIDI Note/CC

2. Link Animations to Midi

3. MIDI Note/CC

4. Animation Linked

5. How MIDI is linked with the animation – Standard Trigger, Dynamic Midi (Notes only), Increment by Frame (CC only)

6. Controls- Play, Edit, Delete

Add Note/CC

Stream Animate > MIDI

1. Click ‘Add New MIDI Note/CC’ at top and a new window will pop up.

2. Click ‘Listen for Midi’.

3. Play a Note or CC then click Save.

Note: If no animations have been linked with the MIDI Note/CC you can delete the note.
